Indie United

Crikey, this Podcasting thing is getting popular, it seems. Indie United is an hourlong podcast, with tunes plundered (aaarrrr) from myspace, including our very own classic ‘Stranded At The Bar’, and The St Louis Punk Pages. Some good stuff on there, so go listen…

Unsound Podcast

We’ve been Podcast again! Unsound have included Texas Hold Up in the most recent episode of their show, along with a bunch of other really good stuff. In their words…

THROW AWAY YOUR RADIO AND LISTEN UP!!! A showcase of new and undiscovered bands with a fresh approach to underground music that’s too hardcore for corporate controlled, commercial driven radio stations. This music isn’t for your momma or your daddy. It’s time to get down and dirty! Forget what you thought you knew about “music” spoon fed to you by the mass media. Sit down, shut up, and listen.

Touched By The Hand Of Warren Ellis

The word of Stupid is gradually filtering out to the furthest reaches of the interweb. In our most recent coup, Warren Ellis - technophile, podcaster and godlike genius author of Transmetropolitan, Global Frequency, Desolation Jones and Ruins amongst others - has seen fit to include Stranded At The Bar in Episode 4 of his weekly podcast The Apparat Programme. It’s available for direct download from his site, or can be subscribed to using iTunes or similar using http://feeds.feedburner.com/Apparat.

Our first Podcast

Stranded At The Bar appears as one of four GarageBand-sourced songs in Episode 1 of the interweb podcast The Chaos Report. He says,

Imagine my delight when I downloaded it and discovered it contains the two things I love most in life. One is a horn section in a punk band, and the second is beer.

I’m not sure if the podcast is available through iTunes yet, but it can be downloaded here, or subscribed to here.
